Saalo ("we," "our," "us") operates the Saalo mobile application. This policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
When you create an account, we collect your phone number for authentication. When you use the app, we store the following in your user profile:
If you choose to connect your Oura account, we access sleep and readiness data through Oura's API using OAuth. We do not store your Oura credentials. We only read data relevant to correlating your phone-free time with wellness metrics. You can disconnect Oura at any time from Settings.
We use your data to provide the Saalo app experience: tracking your phone-free sessions, showing your progress, and (if you connect Oura) correlating presence time with wellness data. We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not share your data with third parties except as described below.
We use the following services to operate the app:
These services have their own privacy policies. Your data is stored in the United States via Google Cloud infrastructure.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active.
You can delete your Saalo account at any time from inside the app: open the menu, tap Account, then Delete account. We will ask you to confirm, then remove the following immediately:
Once your account is deleted, it cannot be recovered. If you would prefer to make the request by email, write to privacy@saalo.co and we will handle it for you.
Anonymized, aggregated data may be retained for product improvement.
You can view and edit your daily goal, clearings, and other settings at any time within the app. You can disconnect Oura from Settings. To delete your account, see the section above.
Saalo is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or by other means.
